The 18th Annual Conference - Shaping the future of compliance in Africa

The Compliance Institute Southern Africa has been shaping compliance for over 21 years, and we have seen constant changes affect the compliance environment. From the ever-changing legislative landscape, to the role and responsibilities of the compliance officers that have to operate within it, every facet of the field has grown in its scope and complexity.

As the demands of regulatory compliance continue to grow, it is more important than ever before to make sure you’re on top of developments in the compliance sphere, regardless of the industry you operate in.

This is why we have dedicated ourselves to hosting engaging and informative conferences on crucial compliance issues to delegates throughout Africa.

To date, each conference has been more successful than the last, and 2017 will see the best event yet as The 18th Annual Conference comes to the Indaba Hotel, Spa and Conference Centre in Johannesburg.

Highlights from the 17th Annual Conference

  • We connected with more than 1,900 fans on social media, sharing real-time updates as the event unfolded;
  • With live tweeting from the venue and expert community management, we were met with a wave of over 500 user engagements and interactions;
  • We facilitated vital compliance discussions with 11 top local and international speakers, each with an average of 20 years’ experience in the compliance profession;
  • We sparked a thought-provoking panel discussion that saw 4 expert panellists giving practical, insightful solutions to everyday compliance issues; and
  • We provided a unique platform for networking opportunities, bringing together over 350 like-minded compliance officers and professionals.
